EcoRemedy & Spiritual Guidance - Abby Leach

Non-Clinical EcoRemedy & Spiritual Guidance

People often come to me looking for something less clinical and more of a spiritual or energetic nature.  Perhaps they’ve integrated the insights and self-awareness from previous mental health counseling and are ready for something different, or the mental health model simply doesn’t resonate.  As we know, there are many paths to transformation and sometimes we just need a guide or mentor to assist us in our “becoming” process.  For those seeking a less conventional method for wellness, I provide EcoRemedy and spiritual guidance services.

These services may include reconnective experiences in nature, spiritual guidance and/or prayer work, exploring shamanic practices, somatic work and raising self-awareness.  In addition, we may create sacred ceremonies and/or rites of passage for specific life passages including conscious death and dying issues.

I have studied with Qero elders within the Inca cosmology as well as elders of the Toltec tradition and International Assembly of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.  Spiritual guidance and energy training came through the Centers for Spiritual Living and other wise elders.

Sessions can be in person or on-line from the comforts of your own home.

Walking Up To the Veil, Death As An Ally. A Community Sharing Circle.

A Community Sharing Circle with Mindfulness Meditation, Nature Immersion, and Sound Bath.

A day-retreat at SerpentSong Sanctuary on Harstine Island, for all interested explorers of life to honor community, connection, and healing. Led by Abby Leach and Rachel Chase.

The experience: A Sharing Circle that includes mindfulness meditation, reflective dialogue, and opportunities for deepening our relationship with death. Included is time in nature, relaxation, space for self-reflection and lunch on your own or within community.

This day-retreat is a safe and sacred container for our stories and hearts. Experience compassionate group sharing and support. Plus enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the retreat center.

During this intuitively guided retreat, we will participate in a talking circle centered on befriending death with empathy, as part of life. We will listen deeply and create space for the process of witnessing each other and ourselves with compassion. We will commune with the spirit of nature for deeper connection and support. Places throughout the day will be created for spaciousness, body, breath, energy restoration, grounding, and peacefulness. This is an opportunity to hold sacred space in our communities for conversation and validation of the human experience including death and dying.

The Land is calling us “home” to ourselves encouraging us to reconnect with our true nature and capacity for transformation. Nature helps us get quiet and open up to inner guidance and wisdom.

Reconnecting Through Nature

The non-clinical services I offer are structured around the needs of the client. People often come to me with questions and concerns of a more spiritual or energetic nature. Some are seeking personal growth and empowerment, some desire self-knowledge or a more intimate connection with inner awareness and guidance. Most are interested in mending old wounds or breaking away from habitual ways of thinking or conditioning and rediscovering their own true nature.

As humans, our wellbeing is intimately intertwined with the wellbeing of the planet. Therefore, nurturing our relationship with the natural world can be essential in maintaining our own physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual health.

Spending time in the natural world has the capacity to help restore balance. It can help us recover our true alignment, experience life at deeper levels and heal from conditions brought on by the stress and strain of living in an increasingly disconnected world. Immersing oneself in nature can also be a healthy remedy for people seeking relief from spiritual or emotional distress and a safe and supportive environment for exploration, growth and expansion.

Living in a place surrounded by nature allows me to offer sessions and guidance services that are deeply connected to the earth, water, forest and indigenous wisdom traditions. I can share the beauty of the land with clients and offer more in the way of spiritual, energetic and shamanic practices. Sessions are structured around a client’s needs and may include time spent in nature walking, meditating or engaged in a somatic or awareness/mindfulness practice.

Guidance services may include spiritual guidance, prayer work, shamanic sessions, energy work, and creating sacred ceremonies and/or rites of passage. Ceremonies may include commitment ceremonies, memorials, house blessings, and other ceremonies designed for a specific life passage.

While I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, this non-clinical service is not counseling or psychotherapy, it is not intended as health care of any kind, nor does it create a clinician/client relationship. In addition, your participation in this service is not intended to diagnose or treat any physical or mental illness, dysfunction or condition, nor should it be considered a substitute for any healthcare services. If you are seeking mental health counseling, I also offer opportunities for clinical mental health services. Please review the information on the Mental Health Counseling page to discover more.
