I trust you are all safe and enjoying the wild nature of the recent storm and full moon energies. We’ve entered the rich and potent time of when the veil is thinnest between the worlds. This is a time to honor, celebrate and commune with our deceased loved ones. I’m excited our friend, Rita Heapes, has agreed to safely take us on a shamanic journey to the ancestors through a Celtic ritual. No experience necessary.

We will create an altar for the ancestors, journey and end with a fire ceremony.

Here are some of the specifics….

Date: Sunday, October 30, 2016 (New Moon)

Time: 5:30pm Socializing/Create Ancestors Altar
6 – 8:30pm Journey and Fire Rituals

Where: Abby’s home

Bring:

• Water Bottle (important to stay hydrated)
• Something to cover your eyes for the journey
• A blanket or yoga mat to lie on (for indoors)
• An item of special significance for the altar
  And any photo(s) of your ancestors also for the altar
• Sturdy outdoors shoes and appropriate dress for the weather (raincoatJ)
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Your Self and your open, curious nature!

Optional

• Percussion instrument – drum, rattle, etc.
• Offerings for fire (i.e. tobacco, sage, chocolate, flowers)
• Love Offering for hosts
